I spend a lot of my spare "John" time Playing Socom 3 US Navy Seals on Playstation 2. Yes I am still the obsessed gamer, even at 47 years old. In the basement we have two 27" TV's side by side with 2 Playstation II's and an X-Box all online. We also have a 19" TV with an original Nintendo and Super Nintendo, as well as a regular Playstation. I am an official member of the Sony Playstation "Gamer Advisory Panel" and help Sony decide on game covers, Beta test new games and give them feedback, among other things.
I have been a member of an organized Clan for a couple of years and play in online tournaments with my Clan. Our Clan is called "Last Ones Standing" or for short =LOS= Our website is really cool, check it out www.losclan.com My name in the Clan is Quicksilver and the picture below is called my TAG. Chris and I made it together in Photoshop.
I carried this name over from Socom II where I was in a clan with most of the same people which was called Marvel Seals and every character was some type of comic book character. Quicksilver was actually Magneto's son and flipped back and forth from being a Villain to a Superhero. I made a website for that clan several years ago and it is still up on the web and pretty cool. It has all our rosters and pictures of the characters and some of the real plyers and their bio's. Here is a picture of me getting honored for community service with the CHAMP. I fought for funding for the handicapped people that I employed because they were trying to discontinue some excellent workplace programs. In the background are the Mayors of both South Bend and Mishawaka. The CHAMP was being honored for Humanitarian Of The Century! He lives near us and ate at my old restaurant all the time. By the way, I won the ugly tie contest!!! |
